Description

HelloMeal was a collective College University projected made in 2022 with a team. The goal was to create a PWA for creating and reading recipes. The application includes different sort of features such as ingredient management, recipe creating & sharing and different filters for difficulty, time, etc. Since it’s a PWA, the application is available to install as a native app on your phone.

Challenges

The main challenge for HelloMeal, was to make the application available for offline use. Users can create a recipe without any network connection. Once the application has a successful network connection, the created recipes will automatically be uploaded or edited in the database. This creates a seamless transition between online and offline use. The main technology which helped us here was the different features that Firebase has.
